    Hi there,

I curate public events for the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, and I’m writing to invite you to be a food vendor at Page Turner, our 2013 literary festival, on Saturday, October 5th.

I’d like to feature local food creators and vendors to complement our programming with Asian American writers, artists, and activists, and I’m particularly hoping to have Thirstea take part!

To give you some background, Page Turner will be held at Roulette and the YWCA in Downtown Brooklyn. This year’s Page Turner will be a big books and food event featuring an outdoor food fair with food trucks and small presses. Half outdoor street fair and block party, half literary festival, we will also feature several tracks of live events and workshops featuring well-known and emerging writers and artists. Past participants have included Jhumpa Lahiri, Teju Cole, Jessica Hagedorn, Amitav Ghosh, and many others.

We’re expecting some 3000 people at the festival, and there is no charge for participating as a vendor.

How does all this sound? We’d love to have you there. Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Best,
    Amna

  2. Hello,

I am writing from Two Moon, a Brooklyn Shortbread Company. We produce
a line of artisanal shortbreads in unique sweet and savory flavors.
We love your shop and think we could be a great fit for your
    customers.

Our fall line has a variety of flavors including Pumpkin Butter,
Rosemary Sea Salt, Bergamot Chocolate Chip and more. They pair
perfectly with artisan coffee and teas. They’re all small batch baked
in Brooklyn, have a great mark-up, and a 4 week shelf life. There is
no minimum order and we deliver free in Brooklyn. Additionally, we’re
a socially responsible business that supports emerging artists in the
    community.

Please let me know if I could drop off some samples. Thank you for
    your consideration!

    Best,
    Chelsea Hanawalt
