Milk Oolong Full-Leaf Loose Tea

Grown high in the Fujiian mountains in China,
Milk Oolong Full-Leaf Loose Tea gains its alluring character through a meticulous, multi-step process that begins with withering and a brief oxidation in direct sunlight.

As soon as the leaves give off a distinctive fragrance—often compared to orchids, this stage is halted. The leaves are rolled, then fired to halt oxidation when it's about half way between black and green tea.

Tasting Notes

This oolong, famous for its “milky” taste and silky texture, has the fragrance of sweet cream and pineapple. It's smooth with a lingering taste and light, orchid notes.

Caffeine

Oolong tea produces about one-quarter to one-third the caffeine found in a comparably sized cup of coffee.

Steeping Milk Oolong Tea is Easy

• Heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil.
• Place one teaspoon of leaves in your pot or
  infusing basket.
• Steep tea for 5 to 7 minutes.
• Pour in water (6 oz per cup) and steep for 5-7 minutes.
• Remove the tea and enjoy. The leaves may be infused multiple times

Steeping is Easy

• Steep tea for 5 to 7 minutes.
• For iced tea, double the amount of tea used, steep as above and pour over a generous amount of ice.
• Experiment to find your favored steeping time. Enjoy Sip by Sip.
